Thank you for purchasing a German Shepherd puppy from Hearts Home Kennel. Please be advised that your deposit is non-refundable. These beautiful puppies are bred for soundness, intelligence, show, companion, sports, gentleness and docility. It is our endever that your new puppy will be a blessing to you and your family all the days of his/her life. We hope that he/she will bring you much joy and happiness, fulfilling the purpose in which you desire. Before going to their new homes, all of our puppies are de-wormed, receive first vaccinations.

Your puppy is sold with a health guarantee as follows:

HEALTH GUARANTEE-THE PUPPY SHOULD BE CHECKED BY YOUR VETERINARIAN WITHIN 72 HOURS AFTER HIS ARRIVAL AT HIS/HER NEW HOME. If at this examination the puppy is found to have a genetic fault that would seriously alter the life of said puppy, a replacement puppy of the equal or greater value will be given to you at our next available litter, upon return of the puppy, AKC registration, and a letter from the veterinarian describing the problem encountered. This guarantee is no longer in effect after the puppy has been in his/her new home more than 72 hours, as we have no control over his/her new environment.

The puppy must be given adequate and proper shade and housing, and sufficiently fed & watered, and in no manner be mistreated. The buyer must also agree to let the puppy spend some of its day in companionship with its’ new owner, and provide a secure area in which puppy can play and exercise. The puppy can at no time be allowed to roam free.

To be covered by the following guarantee: The puppy must be owned by the person who originally bought the puppy from Hearts Home Kennel.

The puppy must have at all times received proper nutrition, up to date vaccinations, regular wormings, monthly heartworm preventative, yearly veterinarian examinations, along with a healthy environment and proper exercise.

HIP GUARANTEE

Your puppy is guaranteed to be free of hereditary hip dysplasia at two years of age, providing the puppy has not been used for breeding (sired or whelped a litter). In the unlikely event that the puppy is diagnosed with hereditary hip dysplasia, by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, (OFA) , a replacement puppy of equal or better quality, same sex as the puppy originally purchased, will be given when a puppy is available. You must return the original puppy and transfer AKC registration to Andrea Smith. To qualify for a replacement, please notify us of the situation within 24 hours of findings. Send a copy of the OFA evaluation to PO Box 1978 Hedgesville, WV 25427.

IN ALL CASES WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE THE PUPPY EXAMINED BY OUR VETERINARIAN. If you request a replacement under this guarantee, and the examination of the alleged defect, by a licensed veterinarian of Seller’s choice determines that the defect is not genetic, but caused by trauma, stress, neglect, abuse or any NOT inherited factor, this guarantee is null and void, without effect and will not be honored.

I, the buyer, understand that this is a binding contract and by signing this PUPPY CONTRACT & Bill OF SALE that I am to abide by ALL of the conditions and terms. I have signed this agreement, showing that I understand and agree to ALL the agreements and terms. I also understand that by signing this contract if I chose not to abide by ALL of the conditions, I will lose all rights and ownership of the said puppy and its registration papers, and the Breeder has the right to take the said puppy back into seller’s possession.
